Shared Ownership is in essence the evolution of the timeshare product combining the best of both timeshare and whole ownership. The timeshare concept started as a fixed week in a fix unit and subsequently has branched out to various combinations including Vacation Ownership, Shared Ownership, Destination Clubs, Private Resident Clubs and Vacation Membership.

All created to expand the choices of the various owners, thereby making the product more attractive, flexible and fitting with the growing needs and lifestyle of the consumer.

Wyndham VIVA Vacation Club

Grangé Group managed this multiple resort vacation club located in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Bahamas, expanding it previously existing sales presence while upgrading the overall member experience to create a successful venture for Wyndham VIVA Hotel & Resorts.

Sol Meliá Vacation Club

Grangé Group founded, and operated this very successful leisure lifestyle, real estate arm of Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts, which in its second year of sales has become one of the leading branded global vacation membership concept with 15 resorts in 6 countries located in the Americas, Caribbean and Europe.

The Whiteface Lodge and Spa

A Private Residence Club nestled in the heart of the acclaimed Adirondack Mountains in Lake Placid, NY, the resort is a luxury, fully integrated Private Residence Club that has distinguished itself as one of the "Leading Hotels of the World™". This resort, voted one of the two best resorts in the U.S. by Conde Nast, is surrounded by the enchanted forest of Lake Placid watched over by Adirondack High Peaks, and offers full and shared second-home ownership in high-end residential suites accompanied by the finest resort services and extensive one-of-a-kind amenities.

Four Seasons Residence Club, Punta Mita, Mexico

Part of the Four Seasons Private Residence Club located alongside the Four Seasons Resort within Punta Mita, a master plan community. Grangé was retained to provide marketing, sales and operational strategy, support and execution for these 35 high-end unit residence club.

Fairmont Heritage Place

Located within the Mayakoba master plan community, alongside the Fairmont Mayakoba Resort, this mixed-use project of 60 whole ownership residences and 36 fractional villas is being developed, marketed and sold through Mayakoba Real Estate managed by Grangé Group.

Cendant Resort Group International

Leader of the global strategy, development, implementation and execution of the Cendant International brand strategy. In addition, managed the creation of new ventures relationships and opportunities on a global basis, leading to a marketing alliance with Sol Meliá Hotels and Resorts.

RCI International

With more than 2,000 resorts and affiliates, and over 30 offices on 5 continents, Grangé led this very profitable operation to become more successful by promoting and managing existing and new worldwide business opportunities, creating new relationships and ventures, managing US and international marketing and customer generation programs, as well as acquisition and growth opportunities.

Starwood VOI

President & CEO of International and US off-site marketing and sales operations, Alain Grangé continued to build on Vistana International's success through the growth and expansion of its global network and resort opportunities as well as the expansion of the global off-site marketing and sales organization. Additionally, he developed programs in conjunction with Starwood Hotels and marketing centers to maximize the potential of the Starwood guest. He was one of the leaders in the launching of Harborside Resort at Atlantis.

Vistana International, Inc.

Created from inception, the international division which grew to represent 1/3 of the companies overall profits through the establishment of a larger international distribution and sales network that spread out over more than 30 countries. This division's sales volume doubled each year for the first 5 years in business and then continued to grow at a rate of 30% per year thereafter. Alain was a member of the senior executive team that successfully took Vistana public in 1997 and subsequently sold for a hospitality brand industry record amount to Starwood Hotels in 1999.

Resort Golf Clubs International

Founded this company that specialized in development, management, market and sales, and turnaround of upscale residential communities, resorts and vacation ownership properties for institutions, developers and lenders. Portfolio included 15 timeshare resorts in Southeast US marketed in US and internationally, plus several large country club projects including Ballenisles Country Club, and St. Andrews Country Club.
